The Nuclear Regulatory Agency is an administration that assists the Chairman in exercising his powers and ensuring technical support for his activities. The Chairman of the Agency is an independent specialized body of the executive power, which carries out the state regulation of the safe use of nuclear energy and ionizing radiation and the safe management of radioactive waste and spent fuel within the powers granted to him by law.
